I've been getting asked a lot lately the to discuss different methods I use to achieve success. I've used a lot of 'methods' to achieve success but if I were to choose one thing that has really helped, it's actually a mantra I live by: change your thoughts and you change your reality.
A short time ago, I realized that I needed to accept responsibility for creating my own reality. I realized that I am totally responsible for how my life has played out and there is no one 'pulling the strings.' If I was poor and didn't have money to do the things I wanted to do, it was my own fault and I was responsible for creating that reality.
Once I came to that realization, it was easy for me to begin experiencing success because I was now aware that my thoughts created my reality. I started to become aware of thoughts that caused fear, doubt, and worry because I knew those thoughts would create an unwanted reality. Once I was aware of those thoughts, I could change them! And how do I do this? Well, I actually use a method that is based on various scientific studies. Check out this article if you're ready to completely change your life...

IF YOU GIVE IT AWAY, THEY WILL COME!!!
I've always been a big proponent for giving away music as a way to create a fan base. Here's an article I just read that supports this concept. Let me know what you all think. I would be interested in hearing you all sound off on this subject because it's a touchy one in the music industry these days.

JAY BROWN SPEAKS...
The other day I was invited to be a guest speaker at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law here in San Diego. Professor KJ Greene from the university had asked me to speak to his music law class about the story behind Unifik Music Company and how it was created. It was my first experience with being asked to speak in front of a group of people and I was grateful for the opportunity...especially since I've just recently overcome my fear of speaking in front of people.
I really love sharing my story and I had a great time doing it that evening. My goal was to inspire and motivate someone in the class to follow their own dreams and desires so over the next couple of days after the class, I was thinking if I had accomplished that goal. A few days later, I received several emails from a few of the students from the class and lets just say the messages got me juiced up with all kinds of energy! You can read one of the messages by clicking here. I changed the name in the message to protect the identity of the individual who sent me the message.
Years ago, I would have never thought that I had the ability to change someone's life positively but that's not the case anymore. I have been given a gift that allows me to connect with people on multiple levels and help them progress through life...and what a wonderful gift it is! Now I can't wait for my next opportunity to speak and connect with more people!

ADAM TENSTA @ THE DUB CAR SHOW
Hello World! It's been a while since I've reached out to all of you and I truly apologize! Life has been hectic lately as I've been working very hard to launch a new venture. We're in the start-up phase so I can't disclose much info, but you'll be hearing more about it reallllll soon...I promise.
So last week, I received an email from a dude by the name of Thomas. He and his partner Babak founded what is presently the top record label in Sweden, RMH Entertainment. Thomas had sent me a message asking if I was interested in working with them while they were in California. It was their first trip to the west coast of the U.S. with Adam Tensta, the hottest hip hop artist in Sweden.
Adam Tensta is currently up for a European MTV award and he's recently won the Swedish Grammis, Sweden's equilvalent to a Grammy, for best Hip Hop/Dance/Soul album. I can go on and on, but I'd rather let you find out more info on Adam. It's as easy as typing his name into a Google search! Or you can start on his Myspace page, click here.
So to make a long story short, Adam Tensta performed at the DUB car show this past Sunday and we had an opportunity to work with him on a new project concept that we just came up with less than a week ago! I can't tell you exactly what we did, but check out some photos and video we snapped throughout the day.
All I can say is that we had a lot of fun and it was nice working with a group of people that make each other's job easy. It was great working with Adam and the crew at RMH (Respect My Hustle). We got the job done and it all happened so smoothly! But I really shouldn't be surprised cause that's the result of working with good people who aren't all about themselves and caught up in their egos.
Enjoy the photos and stay tuned to for more!
